The Figure in the Landscape in Monochrome from life and photos in South Africa
Please join ARC Living Master Artist Tina Garrett and the magic and Majesty of South Africa. Together, we will explore the textures and shapes of the South African landscape and safari and the richness and majesty of their people. Tina will teach her approach to composing and simplifying the complex landscape and techniques for totalistic and monochromatic figurative works. Tina will also share her distinct yet straightforward approach to creating gorgeous flesh tones in her demonstrations of full-colour alla prima portraiture from life.
The all-inclusive price covers all luxury accommodations, 10-day workshop instruction and model fees, most meals ( breakfast, lunch, and dinner ) and all private ground transportation to painting locations, including to and from the airport.
This unique, one-of-a-kind artist adventure is limited to 12 students.
Non-painting partners and photographers are welcome.

THE ARTIST
Tina Garrett
Tina Garrett is one of contemporary Western art's most well-known female artists. Her works focus on emotion and mood, often depicting dramatic light or atmospheric effects. Her works tend to carry an undefinable reverberation, haunting and laced with mystery. Tina has earned recognition as an Art Renewal Center Living Master (ARCLM) and holds a Master Artist designation from the National Oil and Acrylic Painters' Society. Tina is a longtime Portrait Society of America mentor for the PSoA Cecilia Beaux Forum Mentoring Program, the Annual Art of The Portrait Conference Faculty, and the Oil Painters of America National Conference Faculty. Tina offers mentorship and over a dozen workshops around the world annually.
