The all-inclusive price covers all luxury accommodations, 10-day workshop instruction and model fees, most meals ( breakfast, lunch, and dinner ) and all private ground transportation to painting locations including to and from the airport.

Itinerary

Sept 2
STELLENBOSCH
COURSE ORIENTATION AND WELCOMING
Upon arrival, you will personally meet the Tour Director (Taléta).
You will be taken to Stellenbosch to check in at your hotel from the airport. In the afternoon, you will join the welcome meeting in the hotel lobby with your fellow travellers, Matt Ryder, and your Tour Director (Taléta). You will have your course orientation around the dinner table. Greet the traditional, unique and delicious South African cuisine tonight at our first group dinner.
Sept 3
STELLENBOSCH
Painting lesson in the morning, Wine tasting in the afternoon.
Sept 4
BUFFELSDRIFT
After breakfast, we will venture to our first Safari game lodge at Buffelsdrift. The lodge is a 5-hour drive from Cape Town along a beautiful road. We will stop along the way to enjoy the view and take photos. After check-in, you will go on your first Safari at sunset.
Sept 5
BUFFELSDRIFT
After a sunrise safari and a wonderful group breakfast, Matt will demo in the morning and you will be given the opportunity to pain with guidance after lunch. After the painting session, we will venture out together for a sunset safari.
Sept 6
BOTLIERSKOP
After breakfast, we will check out to go to our next game lodge, Botlierskop. Immerse yourself in the peacefulness of the African bush at the luxurious Private Game Reserve. You will have the day to yourself to relax after check-in or paint on your own. The group will go on a sundowner safari together, followed by a lovely group dinner at the lodge.
Sept 7
BOTLIERSKOP
Today we will have a group session in the afternoon. There are hundreds of other species of animals to spot so the early morning and early evening game drives are the best way to start and end the day. You may choose a morning or evening game drive, a horseback safari or a spa treatment this day.
Sept 8
BOTLIERSKOP
Botlierskop game drives are special. Accompanied by a skilled game ranger and assistant guide, their game drives are informative and a highlight of the day. After the morning Game Drive and breakfast, we will have another group painting session with a demo from Matt. You will have the late afternoon to relax, use the spa facilities, paint on your own, or book a separate excursion.
Sept 9
STELLENBOSCH
Anyone who's been on safari before knows that no two game drives are ever the same! After having your last game drive, we will travel back to Cape Town by private transport.
Sept 10
STELLENBOSCH
Today will be our last full day of painting, You will have yet another demonstration in the morning with time to paint in the afternoon.
Sept 11
STELLENBOSCH
Use the morning to relax, sleep in, use the spa facilities, or go to town for shopping. In the afternoon we will paint together for the last time. Matt will critique your work afterwards. This will be our last night together and we will share a last supper together.
Sept 12
Enjoy one final breakfast before your transfer to Cape Town International Airport.
