Accommodations:
Rooms vary. Rooms are assigned in the order of registration bookings and are subject to availability. Workshops in SA reserve the right to change the accommodation location due to unforeseen circumstances but will always choose equivalent accommodation or better.
Transport While at Your Workshop:
Transport to painting and sightseeing excursions is included.
Travel Arrangements:
Airfare is not included. You must provide your own airfare to our Workshop Retreats. We will collect you from Cape Town airport and take you directly to the estate, where you will spend the most notable ten days of your life.
When you have informed us of your travel itinerary, we will arrange a time for your pick-up and return drop-off. Our general pickup times are between 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. You may have to wait an hour or more from when you arrive, depending on our pickup schedule. But we are always willing to accommodate within reasonable times.
If you plan to arrive on any day before or after your retreat start date or your flight is significantly delayed, you will need to make your own way to the estate. It is about 30 min away from the airport by Uber taxi. An Uber taxi may cost $ 20. Keep our phone number handy to update us. Texting is a good option, but sometimes text delays sending. If you do not get a quick reply – please call.
Housekeeping & Cleaning:
We aim to please and make this a stress-free retreat/vacation. The estate is a five-star experience with full service.
Equipment and Baggage:
Workshops In SA highly recommend guests travel as light as possible, limiting the luggage to one checked bag and one carry-on. We do not assume any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property or any charges for excess baggage.
Medical and Health:
Guests should have a personal supply of any particular medications, and for emergency purposes, we request guests to advise us of medical conditions and medications needed.
Workshops in SA have no expertise or responsibility regarding what medication the traveller and his/her private physician should decide is necessary for safe participation in the tour. Any physical disability requiring special attention must be reported when the reservation is made.
All guests should be fit enough to walk unaided for at least two hours and manage uneven stairs and occasionally steep walkways as we visit national parks, historic towns, and villages.
All guests must be able to carry their own art supplies to and from painting sites and vehicles. We always try to park as close to the painting locations as possible. Workshops In SA has the right to refuse or remove any traveller from the retreat should Workshops In SA determine that the traveller cannot meet these physical requirements. In that event, the traveller will not be refunded any monies.
Photographs Taken at The Workshop:
Use of Traveler Images Photographs and videos that were taken by Workshops In SA during the trip are the property of Workshops In SA and may be used in digital and print promotional materials.
If you do not wish to have your photograph used, Workshops In SA must be notified in writing no later than the beginning of the tour.
